Remarque : le générateur renvoie toujours un maillage GLB texturé — c'est le seul fichier qu'il produit. Les étapes de cette page expliquent comment passer de ce GLB à GLB.

What is a GLB file?

GLB is the binary packaging of glTF 2.0, the royalty free 3D format maintained by the Khronos Group since 2017. It bundles the scene graph, geometry, materials and PBR textures into one compact binary file, so there are no loose .bin or image files to lose track of. Because the spec was built for runtime delivery rather than authoring, GLB loads fast and validates predictably across engines, which is why it became the default hand off format for web and real time 3D.

A GLB produced from a photo carries baked albedo, roughness and normal maps as embedded texture streams, plus a UV-unwrapped triangle mesh. It has no native support for construction history or CAD parametrics, and while the glTF spec allows skeletal animation, a single-photo reconstruction ships as a static mesh. Any renderer that speaks glTF 2.0, from three.js to Unreal, reads a GLB the same way.

How to get a GLB from a photo

Upload

Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB into the uploader. A clear, evenly lit subject on a plain background reconstructs with the cleanest topology.

Generate

The AI model rebuilds depth, geometry and surface detail from the single image and bakes it into a textured mesh, usually finishing in about 60 seconds.

Download GLB

Grab the finished file straight from the browser. It is already a single self-contained GLB, so there is nothing left to package or convert.

Why export as GLB

One file, zero setup

Geometry, materials and textures travel together in a single binary, so there are no missing texture links when you move the file between apps.

Fast to load

The binary layout parses directly into GPU buffers, which keeps load times low for web pages, AR viewers and mobile apps handling many models.

Wide engine support

Unity, Unreal, Godot, three.js and Babylon.js all import GLB natively, so the same export drops into almost any modern 3D pipeline.

AR and web ready

GLB is the format model-viewer and most WebXR pipelines expect, making it the most direct path from a photo to an interactive web model.

Working with your GLB after download

A GLB straight from Hyper3D drops into most engines with no cleanup, but a few habits keep results looking their best. Import into Blender first if you want to inspect the UV layout or bake extra maps, since Blender reads and writes GLB natively through its built in glTF exporter. If the model will sit in a larger scene, check its real world scale in meters, since glTF assumes meters and some engines default to different units on import.

For the web, load the file with the model-viewer web component or three.js GLTFLoader rather than a raw asset request, since both understand the binary chunk layout and handle texture decoding for you. In Unity or Unreal, import through their respective glTF plugins and confirm the material shader matches a metallic-roughness workflow, which is what the AI reconstruction bakes by default.

  • Open in Blender to inspect topology before using the mesh in a game engine
  • Keep the file in meters; rescale once at import rather than in every engine
  • Use model-viewer or three.js GLTFLoader for the fastest web integration
  • Compress textures with gltf-transform if final file size matters to you
  • Check normals are outward facing if the mesh looks inverted in your viewer
